Destination tax: Barbados has instituted a governmental Room Rate Levy for all hotels effective July 1, 2018. This levy will be assessed on all bookings, regardless of when they were booked, for all travel beginning July 1. This is a mandatory charge of $5.50 per room night and will be payable at the hotel upon checkout by either cash or credit card.
