Country Sustainability Fee
Effective July 1, 2021, this tourism levy will increase from $4 USD to $6 USD per person/per night for all guests 18 years of age and older and $3 USD per person per night for guests aged 12 to 17 years old. The fee will not apply to children under 12 years. In-house guests will not be impacted; however, the fee applies to all new arrivals regardless of the booking date, and will be collected by credit card payment upon check-in at the hotel.
Tourism is Saint Lucia’s main source of income, and the Country Sustainability Fee is necessary to improve the infrastructure and quality of life in the country. It contributes much-needed funds toward healthcare, education, green initiatives, and sustainable tourism development. This action is a country-wide initiative, and all hotels will be required to collect this mandatory fee.
